The SFP® credential equips you with the skills to lead through resource optimization, energy management, and data-driven decision-making to deliver real, tangible value to your organization.

Combined with weekly 90-minute virtual sessions, led by IFMA Qualified instructors, these virtual sessions will help you move from concept to application. During these weekly virtual sessions, you will engage with and learn from your peers. The virtual classes will cover all three units of the SFP Credential Program (chapters 1-12).

All classes will be held on Wednesdays at noon ET(US) / 17:00 UTC via Zoom

How do I obtain my SFP?

• Once you complete all twelve required courses, you are eligible to apply for the SFP. 

What other important information do I need to know?

• Each SFP required course has a passing score for the final assessment.
• If you take the independent eLearning courses, you must complete 95% of all eLearning modules before taking each final assessment.
• If you take an instructor-led course, you are encouraged to review the eLearning modules before taking each final assessment.
• IFMA will review completion time history for all courses during the application process. There is no option to “test out” of any course. IFMA requires at least 77 - 104 hours of training to achieve CEUs for the SFP program.
• IFMA only provides non-printable student guides in a PDF format. If you would like a printed copy, please contact corporateconnections@ifma.org for purchasing options.
